From safer skies with the TSA to new career opportunities through Udemy, our mission is alive in action. But nothing excites me more than what’s ahead this World Narcolepsy Day.

In just a few short months, we’ve launched initiatives that expand opportunity, strengthen patient advocacy, and amplify the voices of our community. I’d like to take a moment to share highlights of what’s new — and what’s next.

Advocacy in Action: TSA Toolkit Launch

Our partnership with the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) marks a groundbreaking milestone. Together, we launched the TSA Toolkit for Traveling with Narcolepsy and Cataplexy — the first nationwide resource to help airport staff understand and compassionately support travelers with neurological sleep disorders.

This toolkit isn’t just about travel safety; it’s the first step in our larger Patient Toolkit Program, which will soon expand to include ADA rights, Sunflower Lanyard integration, and digital self-advocacy tools. Our community deserves environments that are safe, inclusive, and prepared — and we are leading the charge.

Empowering Careers: Expanding the JOBS Project

Our flagship JOBS Project has grown through a new partnership with Udemy. Thanks to this collaboration, participants now have free access to over 25,000 online courses — from professional certifications to skill-building in technology, business, and healthcare.

Combined with our AI-powered career workshops and coaching, this offering helps people with narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia pursue sustainable careers and entrepreneurship on their own terms.

Wellness That Works: Rise Up + Health & Wellness 360

Wellness is essential to thriving with sleep disorders. This October, we’re relaunching Health & Wellness 360, now powered by the Rise Up Program from Narcolepsy Life Academy, led by Paul Poulos.

This evidence-based 26-week program provides:

Structured weekly wellbeing sessions

Guided coaching

Practical tools for resilience

Access to our private Napchat Digital Community

Together, we are building a sustainable model for improving energy, emotional strength, and daily quality of life.

Raising Our Voices: Anthem for World Narcolepsy Day

This World Narcolepsy Day 2025, our community’s creative voice will take center stage. We are debuting Anthem: Beyond the Sleep exclusively on YouTube and across our social platforms.

This anthem is more than a song. It’s a rallying cry for visibility, empowerment, and hope for everyone living with narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia.

Together we are building a future where people with sleep disorders are seen, supported, and celebrated.
